GENERAL OVERVIEW
We very much welcome parents coming to our school with their children and enjoying special programmes tailored for them. During your stay with us, you will have a chance to acquaint yourself with Croatia’s landmarks and traditions, visit the local museum of ethnography (housing the largest collection of artifacts from the Roman times to the present day), and taste a dozen or so of the finest wines from famous vineyards, thus partaking in a Croatian tradition of over 500 years. Sign-up sheets for weekday morning excursions/going out trips (outings) will be distributed to guests upon arrival. You will also have an opportunity to improve your English language skills with native speakers in both the classroom and a less formal environment or take part in our fantastic water sports activities.
Currently, we have the following adult courses on offer:

COURSE OVERVIEW
English. In the afternoon you can book English as a Second Language or English for Business and work towards improving the relevant conversational and writing skills. Depending on requirements and ability, classes will focus on different aspects of language learning such as reading, writing, listening and speaking, which will help anyone wishing to converse freely in this international language.
All English classes are held for 1.5 hours, 5 times a week in a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. All teachers are native speakers, catering for students of all ages and levels of English proficiency.
WaterSports. In the morning, you can try out different water sports such as wake boarding, waterskiing and jet skiing, 4 days a week (30 mins per session). Various towables are also available (banana boat etc). On the fifth day, there is a weekly trip to the ancient town of Nin with its sandy shallow beaches and strong winds, to try and master kite/ windsurfing (a half-day trip with mountain views of the highest massif of Croatia (Velebit)). If you travel as part of a family you will be able to rent jet-skis, quad-cycles, pedal/ motor boats, yachts and other equipment at additional cost (please ask a member of staff at the school). Parents have an option of renting a jet ski and riding it on a special course (tuition is included) for the same period of time instead of sports.

EVENING/ WEEKEND EVENTS
In the evenings and at weekends you will be able to book (separately) entertainment trips such as bowling, bungee jumping, karaoke, cinema, evening shows, dancing and other diverting and informative trips out.
Family Rafting down the Zrmanja and Cetina rivers, horse riding trips, visits to Adventure Parks/ Aqua parks and sightseeing trips are organised at weekends. For more information please visit the Excursions page on our website.
For those wishing to stay in, there is a relaxing social programme with movies, games, etc.
END OF THE PROGRAMME
Parents are too provided with an assessment of their progress at the end of their course, and a graduation certificate on completion of any chosen programme. They will summarise the topics covered in class, and offer positive and constructive feedback to help them build on their successes.
The end of the two-week programme is always marked with a presentation night held on the final Saturday of the programme. This is a chance for all participants to show off their new or improved skills and share their workshop results with other summer school members and even a public audience. It is a great night and parents are of course all very welcome to attend too.
At the moment there are several possibilities for adults to book their stay with us. Groups arrive weekly, with people staying from one to four weeks (with or without the course element). Please note that adults cannot book their stay with us without children or without selecting at least one course if they are on their own.

Prices (per week):
Stay only (no course) €1060 (single adult) or €850 per adult if travelling as a couple
Additional Courses + €200 per course
Included in the above price are:
- Accommodation (4* Premier club double/twin rooms)
- Full Board (3 meals and 1 afternoon tea every day)
- Morning/Afternoon tuition (classroom/sports/excursions) including all study materials and necessary equipment (if applicable)
- 30 min stretching/aerobics on weekday mornings
- Social events in the evenings and weekends (if applicable)
- Welcome party, final presentation event (if applicable)
- Transfers from/to Split Kastela Airport
