LOCATION AND ACCOMMODATION

Our Summer School takes place in Primosten, Croatia (Hotel Zora) as well as Petrčane, Croatia (Hotel Pinija)

PRIMOSTEN

Set upon a little island linked by a bridge to the mainland with quaint stone houses, churches and narrow lanes in the Mediterranean style, alongside many bays, islets and peninsulas, this is a place with a splendid history and an extraordinary sea. The school is situated on one of the numerous peninsulas, surrounded by lovely rock and pebble beaches in a thick pine wood, with beautiful views of the old town of Primosten only around 500 meters away, and wonderful panoramic sunsets. The town is located conveniently close to some of the most picturesque and significant Croatian sights such as Split, Trogir and Sibenik, as well as National Parks Krka and Kornati Islands, all of which are being protected by UNESCO and are included in the World Heritage List.

HOTEL ZORA

For our living needs and partially for studies and sports, we rent a part of one of the largest and most prosperous hotels in Croatia - Zora. It has around 350 rooms spread over 3 floors and 8 blocks. It offers free parking, its own beach, large sports areas, laundry service, restaurant, aperitif and piano bar with terraces and sea views, 24hrs security, souvenir shop, internet corner, wellness boutique and so on.

The rooms are shared between two students of similar age and same gender with all modern furniture and fittings, and spectacular views of the Adriatic Sea. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information). All rooms include: bath/ shower, balcony or terrace, telephone, colour SAT TV, air conditioning, ceiling fan and hair dryer.

All students and teachers live in 3 star “Comfort” hotel rooms, all parents live in 4 star “premier club” hotel rooms. In addition to everything available in 3 star rooms, premier club room owners will have access to mini-bar, one bottle of water and juice per person per day, CD player with radio and clock, Internet connection, safe, cosmetic mirror, bathrobe and slippers.

PETRČANE

The Hotel Pinija is situated in the small Mediterranean village of Petrčane, near Zadar. Its unique position on a natural peninsula makes it the perfect choice for rest and recreation. The city of Zadar is a real treasure trove of archaeological and historical monuments dating back to antiquity, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, as well as of numerous contemporary works of architecture, such as the world’s first Sea Organ (or Morske orgulje). Many churches and monuments from all periods of history have been preserved, and they reflect the art and architecture of all styles. It is only 12 km away from the hotel. 

HOTEL PINIJA

Hidden in a forest of pine trees and surrounded by a crystal clear sea, it invites you to escape everyday life. Thanks to the quality of its facilities and services and its beach, the hotel soon gained recognition among guests from Croatia and abroad. Locals consider it a favourite bathing spot during summer months. To satisfy all your needs, the Hotel Pinija offers 300 modern rooms and 4 suites, as well as 6 rooms specially adapted for persons with disabilities.

Accommodation is arranged into 3 wings connected by the reception area, a spacious lobby and an aperitif bar. In 2001 the hotel was completely modernised, when a sports and recreation area, complete with an indoor swimming pool and a fitness and beauty centre, was added to the hotel. In 2008 the hotel was raised to four-star status, and a new outdoor swimming pool was built. In 2015 a new wellness and fitness centre was built. All students and teachers live in 4 star “Comfort” hotel rooms with balconies, all parents live in 4 star “Premier” hotel rooms with balconies.

Full board is provided at the school/hotel’s restaurant with a four-course buffet range of healthy, locally sourced and home cooked meals. We treat food provision just as serious as everything else so you can be rest assured you will not be disappointed as we cater to all tastes. Please note that our menus are specially tailored to the needs and likings of all students, both young and old, participating at our school.
